    A lady photographs a 99 cent section in a grocery store and makes 3.3 million dollars, and millions more on the prints after

    Not to mention most of the photo was digitally edited, I mean my god…this isnt even art anymore

    Before anyone comments or vomits out their insides, they should check out all of Andreas Gursky’s works. Then they will realize that he (yes he, chicken head) is actually a really talent photographer and genius who will go to any lenghts to get the shot he wants (he even went to North Korea twice). Of course I don’t think anyone should get that amount of money for a print, but I feel the same way about football players and I don’t go around vomiting my intestines just cause I don’t understand it.

    On May, 2011 Cindy Sherman’s “Untitled #96″ (1981), achieved $3,890,500 at Christie’s New York. It is the top one know.
